EMS training was more popular than ever in 2016 according to a study by Fitogram.
Media interest has increased significantly and if you look at the content of the articles, they were still rather sceptical in 2014 & 2015. 2016 EMS training was taken seriously, on the one hand because the training effects spoke for themselves, and on the other hand because amazing research results were obtained in this area.
About one third of the EMS market is manned by chains like Bodystreet or “Körperformen”.
The remaining EMS studios are mostly single providers. The German EMS market grew in 2016 about 12 % this corresponds to about 1700 EMS providers nationally.
A total of about 190,000 people in Germany now train with EMS Training.
EMS training is booming
The most search requests for EMS training per city are in the west of Germany. Berlin ranks lowest among the major cities, which shows that there is still a lot of potential here.
The most commonly searched keywords are “experience with EMS training” , “prices for EMS training”, and “EMS training- before and afterwards”.
In our experience, the most common reasons for starting EMS training are the time savings, the fact that the risk of injury is very low and that the training is always supervised by a trainer. The best effects are the reduction of back pain, body toning, fitness improvement and weight reduction.
The best way to lose weight is to change your diet yourself or with the support of your studio (link to John).
